I recently had the pleasure of shooting Lee in London.
Here’s peek and there’s the link at the bottom to see more
As a freelance photographer, sometimes you look at your calendar and Have the occasional freak out when there are no bookings on the weekend.
Recently (weekend before last) that wasn’t the case. The weekend was empty but I was looking forward to the break as the week had been chocka!
But that changed quickly as I’m happy to help when last requests come my way, so What started as a free weekend quickly escalated with bookings – one for photography at Proud on the Embankment and the other a DJ set at Burlock on Duke St, London (guys souls pop down there!).
Anyway. Enough chat, here’s a sneak peek at the party photos…
Good afternoon everyone!
Happy Friday and welcome to my first ever Friday Flashback Five…
Here you can expect a nice mix of recent and older flashbacks kicking things off, this week’s features are:
I’m Darren Bandoo, an experienced and award-winning London-based Photographer.
I specialise in capturing moments for (but not limited to):
“Thank you so much for the job you have done with the canapes pictures!
We’re extremely happy with the quality. You understood exactly what we were after and managed to capture the best of each element in each image!
We look forward to working with you again and will certainly recommend you!”
– Lilian Fantinatti, Private Dining & Events Manager at Smith & Wollensky, London.
I had the pleasure recently of visiting actual Unicorns…! Okay, before you think I’m crazy, obviously not the fantasy ones! The Unicorn Events Unicorns and their new hires.
As you would’ve heard, Unicorn Events, Led by the original Unicorn Hannah Luffman, have been growing at an incredible rate and I was invited into where the magic happens (East Croydon) to do some headshots of the team for Unicorn Event’s new hire announcements…
It’s probably normal practice for most people, but I still find it weird reaching out to people via social media to make friends over shared interests or collaborate together…
What can I say, I’m a bit old school sometimes!
However, luckily for me, I met this Instagrammer at a friends BBQ and, to keep it short we didn’t waste too much time locking our first photography Meet-up in London for some street shooting.
Great guy and very talented. He wouldn’t mind me saying “A King of the MoodyGrams” 🙂
Find him here: @_alreadythere
I’d like to add that usually I did this by myself or with people I’ve known, so this (you could say) was like my first Insta-Meet-up (I know that BBQ happened but the work was on Insta so gimme a break!).
Here’s a few of my favs:
This was a project for one of my food clients for their Ethnic Cook at home ‘Meals-In-A-Box which makes cooking these meals not only easy but also a learning experience – everything is from scratch and takes no longer than any other meal to prepare.
